Recently, Liu Tianyong, the director of Hwuason, accepted the invitation by Finance School of Renmin University of China to serve as the tutor of the Master's Degree in Taxation again.

It is reported that Master's Degree in Taxation in Renmin University of China is set up to meet the urgent need of modern society to cultivate high-level, application-oriented specialized taxation talents. In order to make up for the weak connection between theory and practice of professional degree education, the academy has always appointed industry elites as professional master's degree supervisors, focusing on improving students' practical ability, which plays a very important role in the cultivation of professional master's degree. Liu Tianyong, doctor of law from China University of Political Science and Law, postdoctoral fellow in economics from Central University of Finance and Economics, and visiting scholar at Columbia University, entered the tax lawyer industry in 2002, established the first professional tax law firm of China and became the director of Hwuason in 2006 . Over the years, he has represented more than 500 major tax administrative cases and criminal cases across the country caused by value-added tax, export tax, corporate income tax, individual income tax, consumption tax, land appreciation tax, duties, etc., which have effectively safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of taxpayers and also gained high praise from relevant departments.

He is also the director of the Finance and Tax Law Committee of the All-China Lawyers' Association, the member of the Expert Committee for Civil and Administrative Litigation Supervision Cases of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the member of the Expert Committee for the Review and Approval of Statutory Rules and Regulations of the Ministry of Justice, the invited supervisor of the administrative reconsideration of the Ministry of Justice, the distinguished researcher at the Tax Science Research Institute of the State Taxation Administration, the executive member of the 11th Committee of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, "First batch of national tax leaders" of the State Taxation Administration (2013), the first batch of legal experts of the Ministry of Finance (2020), the part-time professor of Peking University, China University of Political Science and Law, the Central University of Finance and Economics, the State Taxation Administration Party School and other colleges and universities.
