From August 13 to August 18, the “Third Director Training Session and 2024 Business Innovation and Development Seminar of Huashui Tax Agents Firm (Group)” was successfully held at the Beijing Chunhuiyuan International Conference Center. Over 30 directors from various branches of the Huashui Group gathered together to discuss the group’s development strategy and direction, with the aim of accelerating resource sharing among member firms and achieving the group's goal of “integration.”

As a pioneer and practitioner of the “Tax + Law + Industry” model in China, Huashui launched a new “cross-sector collaboration” model domestically in 2015. Since the comprehensive recruitment plan began in 2019, Huashui Tax Agents Firm has entered a period of rapid development in terms of professionalization, branding, and scale, achieving remarkable results and receiving positive evaluations from the China Association of Tax Agents and various sectors of society. In October 2019, the first Director Training Session of the Huashui Group was successfully held. Due to the impact of the pandemic, the second session was held in October 2023. This third Director Training Session was held as scheduled and received strong support from all member firms, demonstrating the important role of the training sessions as a long-term institutional mechanism in uniting people and consolidating collective efforts within the group.

On the afternoon of August 13, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, an opening ceremony for this year's Director Training Session was held with great pomp and ceremony. Liu Tianyong, Chairman of Huashui Group and Director of Huashui Law Firm, served as the host. Mr. Liu Tianyong warmly welcomed the directors and representatives from various member firms who had come to Beijing, expressing his earnest hopes for the future development of the Huashui Group.

On the first day of this Director Training Session, the Huashui Group held a Business Innovation and Development Seminar. Directors from member firms located in Guangdong, Suzhou, Tianjin, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and other regions participated. Focusing on topics such as business models in the “post-pandemic” era, customer acquisition capabilities, pricing strategies, internal training, external expansion, and group development, they engaged in roundtable discussions where they shared their insights and suggestions. There was ample discussion among the directors from different locations, creating a lively atmosphere.

From August 14 to August 18, the Director Training Session invited leaders and experts from courts, tax authorities, and customs, as well as renowned professors and scholars from prestigious universities, and seasoned professionals from top-tier domestic and international law firms, accounting firms, and tax service firms. These experts provided in-depth analyses and interpretations on widely discussed issues in current tax services, including “Two Supreme” judicial interpretations, VAT legislation, customs tariff legislation, amendments to the Tax Collection and Administration Law, tax inspections, resolution of tax disputes, export refund disputes, international tax services, cross-border investments, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals. This helped enhance the professional skills of the participants and improved their ability to provide tax-related services.

The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly proposed “deepening fiscal and taxation system reform”, requiring the full implementation of the principle of taxation by law, and deepening reforms in tax administration. This sets higher requirements for the next round of fiscal and taxation reforms and points out the direction for reform. The 5.5-day Third Director Training Session of the Huashui Group focused on enhancing the core competitiveness of its member firms in areas such as business innovation and market expansion. It also conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on internal cooperation mechanisms and the “integration” development strategy of the group, achieving significant results. This session further strengthened cohesion within the group, promoting cooperative development among member firms, seizing opportunities brought by reforms, collectively facing the adjustment period of industry development, achieving win-win outcomes, and advancing the progress of the entire tax service industry.
