On the afternoon of July 4, Zhang Yan, director of the Rights and Interests Protection Department of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and a group of 4 people went to Huashui to conduct research and hold a symposium on the construction and research of the legal service mechanism for overseas Chinese-related tax disputes.

At the research symposium, Minister Zhang Yan introduced the functions and positioning of the Legal Counsel Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Department of Rights and Interests Protection and other institutions, as well as the positive role played in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese and their relatives. Lawyer Liu Tianyong, member of the Legal Counsel Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and director of Huashui Law Firm, extended a warm welcome to the visit of the research team and reported on the recent work of Huashui in participating in tax legislation, promoting the development of tax-related service industry, and carrying out tax-related legal services, especially in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of taxpayers.

According to the guidance of the research team, in the next step, Huashui will continue to give full play to the outstanding professional advantages of "tax + law + industry", carry out more fruitful work in the field of tax-related legal services, and actively assist the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese to effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese and their relatives.

It is reported that the Legal Advisory Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese was established in 1982 and is an internal legal advisory and advisory body of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, which was established with the approval of the party group of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. The first chairman of the Legal Advisory Committee was Mr. Zhang Youyu, a well-known jurist, the second director of the Legal Advisory Committee was Comrade Zou Yu, former minister of the Ministry of Justice, and the current director of the Legal Advisory Committee is Comrade Zhang Geng, former executive deputy procurator general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate. At present, there are 119 domestic members of the Legal Advisory Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, which is composed of experts, scholars and lawyers from all fronts of the domestic legal circles and who are enthusiastic about the work of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and has set up five professional committees, including civil economy, criminal law, intellectual property, international trade and arbitration, and administrative labor.
